DUNCAN FALLS — Gracie Ferrell's walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the eighth inning capped a rally, as host Philo downed Amanda-Clearcreek 5-4 in non-league softball action on Monday.
The Aces took a 4-2 lead into the bottom of the seventh, but the Electrics (2-0) tied it at 4 and forced extras on run-scoring singles by Dilyn Brown and Lexie Charles.
Kyleigh McGraw tripled and singled and Charles went the distance for the win, allowing seven hits and striking out three.
Morgan 7, Caldwell 5 (8 inn.): Kaydance Maxwell belted a two-run homer in the eighth inning and Allia Rush struck out 18 and gave up seven hits in a complete game, lifting the Raiders (3-0) to a non-league win.
Myka Augenstein hit a RBI single in the top of the seventh to tie the game at 5 and went 3-of-4 with a double and four RBIs to highlight the Morgan offense. Chloe Baker added three hits and three runs scored and Ellie Parsons and Laney Kangas added a double and a single.

Meadowbrook 14, Fairfield Union 4 (5 inn.): Addy Wiggins hit a two-run home run, as the Colts (5-0) took advantage of 12 walks and six wild pitches to earn a mercy win.
Addy Sichina also had a hit and scattered six hits in earning the win, while Wiggins, Sommer Ginn, Jordyn Vargeson and Addy Randles scored two runs.
Buckeye Trail 3, Tuscarawas Central Catholic 1: The Warriors (1-1) picked up their first win in Inter-Valley Conference action.
West Muskingum 27, West Holmes 8 (5 inn.): Addy Antonetz was 4-of-5 with a home run, two doubles, five RBIs and four runs scored to highlight a 24-hit attack by the Tornadoes (2-0), who scored 11 runs in the first.
Lydiah Huey was 4-for-5 with four RBIs and three runs scored, Calie Smith was 4-for-5 with a home run, four RBIs and four runs scored, Peyton Brown was 3-of-4 with two doubles, four RBIs and three runs scored, Daylee Foster chipped in two hits and three RBIs and Kadie Bare also had two hits and earned the victory in the circle.
Crooksville 17, Miller 1 (5 inn.): Elyse Baker went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and four RBIs, as the Ceramics (3-0) used a 9-run second inning to take control in non-league action.
Baker also earned the win with 10 strikeouts in a one-hitter, Paige Frame added two hits and two runs scored, Dalena Rollison hit a triple and drove in four runs and Mylin Driggs tripled with three RBIs for the winners.
