I don't really care that he got fired, though I applaud Ark for being pro-active before it could turn into another Penn State fiasco. Frankly, I never liked the guy after he left the Falcons and didn't tell anyone other than to leave notes on the players lockers. Notes. That's like High School crap and he's dealing with grown men. Didn't even have the guts to look them in the face and tell them he gives up on the whole thing and that he's quitting like a pansy. There's only 32 NFL head coaches in the world, who quits like that (besides a pansy ass looking for an easier line of work)?
I won't get all self-righteous though about him having a young girlfriend. Lots of dudes do things they wouldn't want getting out. It's easy to say he's weak or whatever, but the truth is if you're old like he is and you have a chance to bang some young thing most dudes would do that. Some wouldn't perhaps, but I suspect most would, just knowing dudes the way we all know them. Most guys, myself included, act like he's a pig, especially to their own wives ("How could he? That's just disgusting!") but the truth is if it's there and free most dudes are gonna hit it. That's just the way it is. Doesn't mean we wanna marry them and take them home and live with them, that's just gross. LOL.
What bothers me more is that if you have money, if you're famous, if you're influential, you can get a freakin' cop to come pick your ass up and deliver your sorry ass to the hospital or pretty much wherever you want to go. That's just ridiculous. Most of our sorry asses would be bleeding in the streets waiting for an ambulance. But if you're him you get a cop of all people to meet your stupid ass and pick you up, like a damn limo service. On taxpayer money. That's the part that is a joke. So what if he banged an employee, the cop is much worse; so is the whole police department. Media diverts our attention from the real issue. The real issue is that he (and people like him) can just use taxpayer cop money to transfer him like it's a limo service. Come get me, I'm injured. Right. How many dudes died that hour while he was waiting for his ride? Totally ridic.
(Edit: I think of Chris Rock giving an interview on inside the actors studio, and he said the thing that awakened him was that his mom died when he was poor, from the simplest of illnesses to treat. Like she could have been saved, but he didn't have any money. His dad got sick after he was rich, and his dad had a major complication, very difficult to fix; he says they had freakin' dudes waiting on him hand and foot; had a whole wing of the hospital dedicated to his survival. Saved his dad without a hiccup. Couldn't save his mom though, not when he was poor. That's the truth of it. Friend of mine, took her docs almost a year to determine she had Kidney stones. Give me a break. Extreme pain for a year. If she were Petrino or some other celebrity or had better insurance they'd know that sh*t within a week. But she's poor and undeserving of good healthcare, even though she has healthcare through work.)
