In like a faithless punk, out like a faithless punk. I'd feel sorry for Arkansas except they poached this jerk in a backhanded fashion and of course, they got what they deserved.

Great college football coach but doesn't understand the meaning of ethical behavior for a leader.
IMO they did the right thing in firing him.

I don't really care that he got fired, though I applaud Ark for being pro-active before it could turn into another Penn State fiasco. Frankly, I never liked the guy after he left the Falcons and didn't tell anyone other than to leave notes on the players lockers. Notes. That's like High School crap and he's dealing with grown men. Didn't even have the guts to look them in the face and tell them he gives up on the whole thing and that he's quitting like a pansy. There's only 32 NFL head coaches in the world, who quits like that (besides a pansy ass looking for an easier line of work)?

I won't get all self-righteous though about him having a young girlfriend. Lots of dudes do things they wouldn't want getting out. It's easy to say he's weak or whatever, but the truth is if you're old like he is and you have a chance to bang some young thing most dudes would do that. Some wouldn't perhaps, but I suspect most would, just knowing dudes the way we all know them. Most guys, myself included, act like he's a pig, especially to their own wives ("How could he? That's just disgusting!") but the truth is if it's there and free most dudes are gonna hit it. That's just the way it is. Doesn't mean we wanna marry them and take them home and live with them, that's just gross. LOL.

What bothers me more is that if you have money, if you're famous, if you're influential, you can get a freakin' cop to come pick your ass up and deliver your sorry ass to the hospital or pretty much wherever you want to go. That's just ridiculous. Most of our sorry asses would be bleeding in the streets waiting for an ambulance. But if you're him you get a cop of all people to meet your stupid ass and pick you up, like a damn limo service. On taxpayer money. That's the part that is a joke. So what if he banged an employee, the cop is much worse; so is the whole police department. Media diverts our attention from the real issue. The real issue is that he (and people like him) can just use taxpayer cop money to transfer him like it's a limo service. Come get me, I'm injured. Right. How many dudes died that hour while he was waiting for his ride? Totally ridic.

(Edit: I think of Chris Rock giving an interview on inside the actors studio, and he said the thing that awakened him was that his mom died when he was poor, from the simplest of illnesses to treat. Like she could have been saved, but he didn't have any money. His dad got sick after he was rich, and his dad had a major complication, very difficult to fix; he says they had freakin' dudes waiting on him hand and foot; had a whole wing of the hospital dedicated to his survival. Saved his dad without a hiccup. Couldn't save his mom though, not when he was poor. That's the truth of it. Friend of mine, took her docs almost a year to determine she had Kidney stones. Give me a break. Extreme pain for a year. If she were Petrino or some other celebrity or had better insurance they'd know that sh*t within a week. But she's poor and undeserving of good healthcare, even though she has healthcare through work.)

Did I offend your sensibilities? Or do you just generally speak for everyone? It wasn't that bad; it's just an opinion, laced with some pseudo-profanity and semi-undesirable opinions. Doesn't make them less true.

This Petrino thing has grown into a monster. Bobby has admitted he had a 25 year old great looking lady who he had recently hired on the motorcycle with him when he wrecked. She did not have a scratch and he looked like a 18 wheeler had run over him. She was engaged to the Arkansas swimming coach. He has admitted to having an affair with her. The motorcycle was given to Bobby by his wife for his birthday. The head man Jeff Long has suspended Patrino with pay while he sorts this thing out. He may be fired or it may be something else. One can only imagine what his wife thinks. He has had two seasons in a row with over 10 wins and big bowl games and this season probably has the best team of all. Talk about dumb. Fayetteville is a small town and Bobby Patrino is as recognizable as Obama so what possessed him to think he was invisible all of a sudden. I guess a 25 year old looker can move mountains. Stay tuned as we will find out this week his fate. Bill Clinton as our President did much worse and went on to a second term so anything is possible. Last year Patrino singed a new 7 year contract with pay of around 4 million + a year. He has been the most successful coach we have had in many decades and our team would likely be the favorite to win the division this year. Oh yes, his brother is the Offensive Coordinator. It would be hard to dream up this story but it would be hard to dream up the Clinton/Monica or Kennedy/Marlyn Monroe stories. I do not know how this story is playing out of state but it is the story of the year here in Arkansas. What doe this all have to do with football? I would think in his contract he must have violated some policy such as hiring a girl he was having an affair with so he could lose 20 million + dollars and a career? The morale here is stay off motorcycles, with 25 year old lookers engaged to one of your acquaintances after signing a monster 7 year contract and with one of the top 10 teams in the nation. Bobby shoud reread the story of Bill Clinton and John Kennedy. He could also read "Sex For Dummies".

Really? Clinton was worse? I never heard that Clinton had a pre-existing relationship with Lewinski, overlooked qualified candidates to personally hire her instead, and cavorted around town with her. And, Petrino violated federal tax laws by not disclosing huge monetary gifts to her as well.

You keep calling her a "looker", but I keep reading it as "hooker". :D

Rumor is that Arkansas offered Jessica Dorrell a First Class ticket out of Fayetteville, but she refused because she only rides coach.

I've been banned before as well, it wasn't what I would call an enjoyable experience. I've changed my comments so as not to offend the more, shall I say, sensitive folk, but I don't know what more you want. I changed it hours and hours ago so there's no need to keep on keeping on.

My post wasn't that interesting to begin with and even less so now. None of my posts are that interesting, ask anyone. Both of you are giving it more credibility than it deserves frankly. You're like a newscaster in the NY Times or on CBS etc who says, "Don't go look at these awesome amateur porn sites, they're despicable," and then proceeds to name them. First thing some dudes do is go look at them. If it was an awesome post of mine I'd be all for it, but as it is, it's just reiterating and regurgitating what we all know. It's not even interesting or well written. I actually feel stupider for having written it and I apologize to anyone who accidentally read it. Wish I could refund the IQ points you lost. My bad.

I feel bad for all the players. They all signed up for a chance to win the National Championship. With Petrino at the helm, it looked like the Razorbacks had a pretty good chance to do so. Now that chance is going away. I do agree with the firing. People making 3.5 million dollars a year should be held to a high standard of Ethics. He should have been a lot smarter than that. It is really to bad, because he is a great college coach.

I'm sure Ms Dorrel's [future] book will explain how something like this could happen. What a crock.

Or prosecute the idiots that make left turns in front of them.
As a teen I had two cycles. Had horrendous wrecks with both and destroyed them. No helmet. I should be dead. Hit a car going 70 mph and was catapulted down the concrete highway over 70 feet, Only bruises and scrapes. Bought a Motor scooter. It caught fire while was driving. I jumped off and it hit a vidock and exploded. I ran as the police and fire truck arrived.Took up flying fighters and helicopters in Vietnam. Shot down. I should be dead. Maybe I need to change my ways. I read some people are genetically structured to live on the edge.

Today you could not pay me enough to ride a Harley Hog. Still would jump into a fighter or helicopter and pay them.

The car I hit at night turned left in front of me. My problem was my lights were not working. He had a new car and I knocked the fender totally off. Had no helmet, license or insurance, or money and was racing at midnight with two other cyclist. My problem was I had no lights, insurance, license, or money. Police gave me numerous tickets. I went to the judge without a parent. Judge threw me out of court and told me to get my butt home and bring back a parent.

I ride horses with no helmet, both are dangerous, both are hella fun for the soul. I've never gone with out a helmet on a street legal motorcycle, not even to the corner store.

My doctor is a lady. She loves horses. Last year she fell off and broke her neck. I do not like riding horses. One stepped on my foot and one bit me while I had my back to him. He was a famous horse having won many millions of dollars. He still bit me while he was in the stable and his head was hanging out.

I've seen bad car, bike, motorcycle, and airplane wrecks but that has never stopped me from using those forms of transportation. Good thing Coach P didn't hurt himself standing on the sidelines, we would have to outlaw that too. Matter of fact, people get hurt in cars too. Do you wear a helmet in your car, that would be safer? Have you sold your car yet, or is that a risk you choose to take in spite of the fact that statistically you would be safer walking? Matter of fact, you might be safest just staying inside and playing video games. I'm done. :D

His brother may be named intrim Head Coach until next season. He is a good guy.
