COD4 of Halo3?

Conversation with my buddy made me want another opinion, not many people post here but its where I post so game on.

Which game is better?

Personally, I hate sci fi, I hate shields and full clips murders. COD4 is the best shooter I have ever played and to me is leaps and bounds better than Halo. My buddy disagrees whole heartedly and enjoys vehicles / game creating more.

This was a tough call. Let me say that COD4 hands down is the deepest and best FPS (without vehicles) to date. So, why did I chose Halo 3? This thread didn't specify what kind of FPS. To me a FPS with or without vehicles are two different types of FPS. So, I am assuming you mean FPS period.

It just seems to be in this day and age, there has to be more in a FPS. COD4 would have been the perfect game for me if it had vehicles. That was the only thing missing for me. After playing Battlefield franchise game you could see what could be done. Unfortunately, the Battlefield games could never get the FPS aspect of the game right. If you could take the Battlefield vehicles aspects and merge them with COD4, you would have hands down the best FPS EVER.

What I love about Halo 3 is that despite being sci-fi the FPS aspect is very good. The vehicles to me also push it over the top. Also, there are places vehicles can't go which keeps intact the FPS aspects but in open areas the vehicles are a factor.

Now if this thread said "Best FPS (without vehicles)"...then Cod 4 wins hands down.

he said mostly the same, Im not really a fan of vehicles, they are fun in Halo but the maps are a lot bigger. Cant stand battlefield, any of them.

COD IV by a landslide!!!! I prefer the spec op type FPS vs. the battlefield FPS. If you are going to have a battlefield type you need more than 32 players. Maybe 32 players per side... Now that is a battlefield!!!!
