What do you guys think about this? I know I would be ticked if Carson Palmer was wearing any other hat, even a very remote rival like the Houston Texans. Jim Harbaugh, when his was QB for the Chargers, refused to talk to a San Diego REPORTER anymore who wore a 49ers shirt to their facility.

I think Harbaugh will ream Kaepernick out whenever he reports back to their facility. Any disharmony can only help the rest of our division, not hurt it.

Who knows. In a perfect world the suspension problems the Seahawks are facing are indicative of a bigger problem there and this will cause division within the 49ers locker room (when, in all reality, the other players probably don't care. At all.)

All of these problems will lead to the downfall of those two teams. Coupled with Bradfords problems with staying healthy, the Cardinals walk away with the division.

How do I link that picture of the dude smoking from the bong?

What a maroon. He reminds me of every gangster-like cokehead I have known in my life. The glasses, hats, whole nine yards. Next he should wear a seahawks hat.

I saw the harbaugh article, thats how it should be.

A very poor decision on Colin's part. Demonstrates immaturity and lack of class. He is the QB for one of the most recognizable franchises in the league. You cant don the hat of another NFL team. Clearly, the Dolphins are not a direct rival, but they are still another team competing for the same prize every year (doesn't matter how much better one team is over the other). This would be similar to the GM CEO wearing a Chrysler jacket around town.

Could you see Aaron Rodgers, RGIII, or Drew Brees rocking Raiders or Chargers gear? Never. Because they are classy, intelligent, and demonstrate unquestionable loyalty.

What amplified the entire situation was Colin's Instagram response to those who called him out:

Kaepernick7 : "This the hat y'all mad at? I'm goin wear what I want regardless of what you think, all you need to worry about is the fact that I grind for my teammates and the 49ers! I plan on doin this until they won't let me in the building! #ridiculous#y'allmustbebored"

Yes, there are some who think this is not a big deal, but because of the public upheaval and outcry, it shows it was not the best choice. Make better decisions.

It's not a big deal unless people blow up and make it a big deal which has happened and I love it! The more trouble the 9ers get in the better as far s I'm concerned lol

Regardless if its a big deal or not its flat out ignorant to be expected to be the leader of that team and where another team's logo. Wow.

It's not a huge deal, but it shows he's a major moron. You don't wear another team's colors. The Dolphins aren't paying him, the 49ers are. I hope his teammates give him crap.

He could of chose anything else. A plain black hat, or whatever. But it goes beyond that since he could have worn any NBA, NHL, or MLB hat. Or college hat. Literally any other hat but the 31 other NFL teams.

If he wanted to represent Miami for whatever reason he could of worn a Heat hat, they did just win the title. But if he wanted to represent but wear the colors of the Dolphins he could of bought a Marlins hat.

Literally no excuse for what he did. Just flat out dumb. But overall it is just a hat.

I wouldn't care if Palmer was wearing a Dodgers or Lakers hat, as those are different sports.

Harbaugh should wear a Ryan Tannehill jersey to get his message across.

He does make himself look like a ******* with the stupid moronic smirk he has on his face and with his tweet he is telling 49er fans he doesn't give a rats ass about them or what they think.

As the owner of the 49ers I may have taken exception to what he did. The team is paying you good money so show some allegiance to the team especially when the players probably get team stuff free to wear. I wouldn't want a player stirring up a hornets nest with the fan base. Like others said wearing another sports team hat would have been a lot smarter and would probably not bother the fan base.

Brady wearing the Yankee cap is no big deal as its another sport. Somehow it just doesn't seem right to wear anything of another team in the sport you play in.

He's an odd cat that's for sure. He might be a very good NFL QB and he might wind up as the NFL's version of Dennis Rodman. Very hard to say which way he goes.

of course before someone says it, Rodman was a terrific player in spite of his personality quirks, so maybe Kaepernick will be like that in the NFL.

If Carson Palmer takes us to the super bowl next year he can wear whatever hat he wants to IMO. Just win football games, I don't care what he does during the off season as long as it is not illegal or immoral.
