If the Cardinals decide to look at a college head coach they might want to consider Connecticut's Randy Edsall. He is responsible for Connecticut's move into Division I football playing status. This season Edsall has lead Connecticut to a 9-3 record in only their second season playing D-I football.
He has NFL experience as the secondary coach with Jaguars during their glory years in the late 90's. He also was the defensive coordinator at Georgia Tech and worked for Tom Coughlin at Boston College and Syracuse (his alma mater).
The 45 year old Edsall has head coaching experience, NFL experience, playoff coaching experience, coordinator experience and has worked on several excellent coaching staffs. He has ties to the NFL which will help him in getting assistants. I hope the Cardinals consider Edsall as head coach.
