It will be an interesting week for me. I get to go back to Idaho for the Boise game on Thursday, but it's becuase my gandpa died and I have to go to the funeral the day before.

So is ASU the only team that is playing at the same time as a local NFL team?

Why do they do that? I though the NCAA and NFL usually worked together on things like this.

It really sucks for people who like ASU and the Cardinals.

No kidding. I guess they don't care about preseason games that much. In essence, it's pretty much preseason games for both teams. I will be at Sun Devil Stadium drunk and loud! Can't wait for both season to start!

It bugs me that I'll miss Cutler vs. Leinart but I'm definetly going to watch ASU's opener. I'm excited football is finally starting.

I don't know why they can't play tomorrow night or why ASU can't play on Saturday night.

I am taking a radio to the Cardinals game tonight to try to listen to ASU, but I don't know if it will even work inside the stadium.

24 NFL teams play a preseason game on Thursday night. Do you really think the Cardinals or any NFL team want to play on a weeknight during rush hour against two local collegiate teams when it's not MNF? The Cards game will be sold out but because of these reasons it definitely won't be completely full causing them to lose out on a lot of revenue from concessions and parking.

Jeez, I know some ASU fans have this boogeyman paranoia involving their Devils in which everyone locally is supposedly out to get them but I figured everyone on this board was level-headed enough to know better.
