Maryland star Derik Queen and Colorado State star Nique Clifford are both the subject of big attention from NBA scouts and could be first-round picks.

Here is a look at some of the latest NBA draft projections for Nique Clifford.

ESPN

ESPN listed the top 50 NBA draft prospects to watch in the NCAA Tournament.

Clifford was listed No. 19, with Jonathan Givony writing, "He's a highly competitive rebounder and defender who flies around the floor with strong intensity."

ESPN's pre-NCAA Tournament mock draft has Clifford being selected with the No. 31 overall pick.

Bleacher Report

Jonathan Wasserman, the NBA draft insider for Bleacher Report and NBA TV/Turner, has Clifford going as the No. 19 pick in his pre-NCAA Tournament mock draft.

"Clifford had come off as a prospect to watch this year based on his ability to play a Swiss Army knife role by finishing plays, passing, rebounding and defending different spots. But he’s suddenly turned into a top-option skill player who can get a bucket against a set defense," Wasserman writes.

The Athletic

Sam Vecenie wrote a pre-NCAA Tournament mock draft and had Clifford as the No. 15 overall pick.

"Arguably the biggest winner of conference tournament week ... Somewhere in the top 20 feels right for Clifford right now, and if he leads a hot Colorado State team on a run, the lottery doesn’t feel impossible," Vecenie said.
