Comments on today's games

1. I'm pissed we don't get the ASU game televised.

2. Anybody know if Versus channel is available on DirecTV? I'd love to watch UA upset BYU, and I do think that might happen.

3. Through the grapevine, best guess is that Evan Sharpley starts at QB for Notre Dame against Georgia Tech, with Demetrious Jones coming in if Notre Dame falls behind before halftime.

4. I like Oklahoma St. to upset Georgia.

5. Tennessee will beat Cal in a close game.

Appalachian St. 34, #5 Michigan 32 at the Big House. Gotta be one of the biggest upsets ever in college football.

Man awsome job appalachian st to get the win, I thought for sure it was over when Manningham made that long catch to get in fg range with around 10 sec but then appst comes back to block the fg just amazing win. By far this will be the biggest upset in college football ever no question

They are going to have to show a little more desire in the second half. 14-0 Cougars at the half. 44 total yards for the Wildcats!

Couple of good games this week.

ECU gave VaTech all they could handle. I was very suprised. Considering the emotion in that stadium and the fact that Ore is back, I though VTech would roll. ECU has a solid defensive front 7.

Tennesee-Cal...a game of momentum. Thought Tennessee was gonna storm back in the second half. All Cal needed was one drive in the second half, and well that is what they did, one drive.

USC- Not impressed....did they play the second and thirds in the second half?

Matt Ryan of BC just propelled himself into the Heismann race. What a performace. Especially considering Wake shut down their running game to the tune of 4 yards rushing.

What can I say about Appy St and Michigan that hasnt already been said? Lloyd Carr needs to go.

Is Syracuse really that bad? 42-12 beating from a bad Washington team? WOW...Greg Robinson is not getting it done.

Is the bottom half of the ACC that bad? Duke losing to lowly UCONN at home by 31, NC State getting beat at home by UCF? and Virginia getting thumped by Wyoming? nice...

Last question...Is Weiss even remotly on the hot seat after this year? I think ND wins 3-4 games tops. Willingham got fired for less than that.

My week one Observations:

1. How far will Michigan drop in the polls? Will they only drop a few spots or very far as they should. I think they shoud drop to around 20 something at least.

2. I agree with a lot of LV Card's list. Oklahoma looked out for revenge after the fiesta bowl.

3. Boise had two 100 yard rushers. Tayor Tharp, the new Qb played a solid game. Our offensive line looks great this year behind Ryan Clady. Washington next week will be a good test of where we are at.

4. I'm glad it's college football time. Nothing else quite the same. I'm sick of baseball, and the NBA is fixed.

5. Louisville looked great as well.

i want michigan out of the top 25 - i hate preseason polls as it is and anyteam that is 0-1 with the only loss to the artist known fomerly as a 1aa team doesn't deserve to be considered amongst the top 25 teams in the nation

forget their name and "talent level" and rank them on their peformance - not top 25 with the need to win their way back in
