Isn't it kind of odd that Whiz has stressed how depth adds to competition which is good for a team yet It appears Rackers has been handed the keys to his job with no real challenge as we head into training camp.
Why? I mean, it's not like he was great last year. Yes, he does have a strong leg for kickoffs and I'm not sure I've seen anybody better at onside kicks. However, he has missed some relatively easy chip shots that has cost us more than a couple of games over the last 2 years.
This is not intended to be a Racker bash thread and if he performs the way he did 3 seasons ago we will be just fine. It's just a little befuddling that he doesn't have any competition for his job.
