Waiting at Michael Conforto's locker when he returned to the clubhouse was the crown passed around by the New York Mets for whoever gets the honor as the player of the game. Conforto returned to his hometown and hit a pair of solo home runs , Neil Walker and Curtis Granderson had two-out RBI singles in the eighth inning and the Mets rallied for a 7-5 win over the Seattle Mariners on Friday night after wasting a four-run lead.
