Just wanted to say congrats to the Suns fans on a HUGE victory against the Spurs. This was a very important game for Phoenix, and they came through when it mattered most.

There is a lot of doom and gloom on this forum, a lot of Suns fans think that the Suns are done, but I still maintain they are contenders. Hopefully for some of you, this win shows you that the team can still get it done. This is coming from an "outsider," I'm not a Suns Homer by any means. The Suns are still a force, so don't give up yet.

Congrats on a big win, the Suns fought hard for this one. I have to admit, buy the 4th quarter I was cheering pretty hard for the Suns. Hard not to when they give that kind of effort. Good show!

Oh, and one last note. If Shaq can keep playing like that, you guys are going to be damn hard to beat. I haven't seen him play like that in a long time.

Suns are finally going to beat the Spurs in the playoffs this year and then promptly get eliminated by the Los Angeles Lakers. It will be glorious.

I'd love to handle Lakers in the west finals. It will be a SWEET path if we can get rid of Sterns and Fakers to get to finals!!

We....meaning NBA fans. I was actually rooting for the suns in that series anyway.

Nobody got SCREWED. It's a rule, simple as that. You leave the bench in an altercation, you get suspended. I dont necessarly agree with the rule, but just as it was inforced in NY years earlier, it was last year as well. If you want to say you got screwed, then you should point at Amare and Diaw as the screwers. Dont get me wrong here, I would be hard to restrain yourself in a situation like that, but in such a pivitol time and place, you just have to know better and show restraint.

Look, don't even get us started on this.....it is one of the most antagonizing and controversial topics you could possibly bring up on a Suns forum. It has been discussed hundreds of times and every time it brings us back to a very dark and angry place and it will never be forgotten. So please just drop it.

It's not over. You have to admit that the whole west situation is pretty exciting though. Going to be an amazing stretch run (maybe best of all time) and playoffs. Team matchups are going to be KEY in the playoffs with so many contenders.

who's the woman in your avatar?

I was at the game and it was great seeing the Suns get such a big win. Meeting Grant Hill and seeing Muhammad Ali were cool moments too.

Oh ouuuuch!

I guess i wouldn't being as how I'm not the type to cry over spilled milk.

It really wasn't the fact that Stern was adamant about enforcing the rule, it was the fact that they didn't enforce ALL of the rules. The Spurs were allowed to do essentially anything they wanted and were not called for it. It has to do with the fact that there was at least one crooked ref in game 3, and Stern knew he was under investigation by the FBI. It has to do with the fact that Stern wants "dynasty" teams in the NBA and the Sterns are the closest thing they can get right now. This is still a very touchy subject not because of one game, but an entire series. It should've been the matchup of the playoffs but the leagues lack of integrity got in the way.

So you honeslty believe the league office prefered to have the spurs in the finals over the suns? I don't buy it. I think everyone in the country prefered to see the suns up tempo style as opposed to the boring spurs game and i cannot fathom a reason the league wouldnt see it that way also. Especially when you consider the reigning MVP going against Lebron and co. So i suppose if the Lakers play well, and boston too, and make the finals we will be hearing a lot more conspericy theories.

I certainly didn't want to bring up a sore subject, was just curious why you called the spurs the stearns.

Right since spilled milk is equivalent to missing out on an NBA championship due to ridiculous circumstances.

GREAT choice of analogy though - I can really tell I'm dealing with quite the intellectual troll now

Psssst? Cobbler.....Tim Duncan aquired nude photos of David Stern a few years ago and we think he keeps them in Popovich's basement. Stern knows this, but has thusfar been powerless to retrieve them.
It's rumored that a covert ops team was sent in last year to try and retrieve them(under the command of Marc Ivaroni),but the mission failed and steps were then taken by Stern and his "people" to have the SUNS punished for their actions. INTEL suggets that the incriminating evidence has moved to a more secure location.....believed to be L.A. under the watch of....yep, Phil Jackson.
