One of the many moves made by the Jacksonville Jaguars in free agency was signing wide receiver Dyami Brown to a one-year, $10 million deal. Over the Cap now has those contract specifics.

Of Brown's deal, $9.5 million of it will be guaranteed. $4.5 million of that amount comes in a guaranteed base salary for the 2025 season, and another $5 million is as a signing bonus.

According to OTC, Brown can also earn up to $250,000 in per-game roster bonuses, and an additional $2 million in incentives are available.

In total, Brown's cap hit for the season will be $9.985 million. With this being a one year deal, there aren't additional contract years available to spread cap charges out, so his cap hit this season is one of the larger on the team.

Brown adds a vertical presence to the offense and is someone who can be dangerous after the catch as well, which expands how Liam Coen utilizes him within the offense.

His 308 yards in the regular season in 2024 were the most of his career, as were his 30 receptions, according to PFF. However, Brown finished with 229 yards in three playoff games, averaging 16.4 yards per catch.

"I think it's easy to look at Dyami's career path and trajectory and know that he's ascending right the way that he closed out last season was nothing short of impressive, and we look for him to carry that into his one-year contract with us," GM James Gladstone said. "He took a bet on himself that a year from now, given the opportunity that he sees here with the Jacksonville Jaguars, that he's going to take another step and earn an even larger contract."
