Literally can't wait to hear Arians after the game talking about how he's happy with the way Massie played and Larsen "had a great game."

The CORRECT lesson to be learned,.....is that even talent can take time to develop and adjust to the NFL game,...so be patient.

No, when onlineman are taken that high they are supposed to be automatic...

Cris Colllinsworth commented on the situation last night. I forget the exact wording but it was to the effect that the coaching staff preferred the intellectual aspect of Larsen's game. That could go beyond Larsen merely executing his assignment to him being able to communicate better with Sendlein (Shipley) and Massie.

On the flip side it's not good that three years in, Cooper still hasn't grasped the mental aspects of the pro game.

When you're the 8th pick of the draft
and can't hold your job in your third year after its handed to you in pre-season, it's safe to say the guy is a bust.

It's hard to argue your point but maybe there is an explanation (excuse).

Is it possible that BA truly plays the best player no matter the circumstance? What I mean is that most coaches will start a 7th overall pick at OG even if a player like Larsen is a bit better. Does BA really start the best player at each position regardless contract or reputation etc.

The Oline is playing very well so maybe Larsen is playing just a bit better than Cooper and therefore Coop isn't a bust but simply being outplayed.

IMO Cooper as the 7th overall pick should have won a starting spot on the Oline so he is at least a disappointment.

So I guess Larsen knows WHO to block, but just sucks?

And Cooper knows HOW to block, but isn't quite sure who it is?
