I know y'all have had to endure a ton of tub thumping from me regarding our food supply, so I wanted to do a quick search for some info. I found an old articel in the CS Monitor with the author wrote the book I recently finished; The Omnivores Dilemma. Michael Poolan has done extensive research about the way plants and humans interact, and while writing an earlier Book, The Botany of Desire he stumbled onto corn and its amazingly robust ability to not only survive but expand its grasp on us.
