Corporate logos could be coming to National Basketball Association uniforms, according to a published report.
The New York Times reported that NBA Commissioner David Stern said it is possible the league could accept logos on its uniforms as a way of increasing revenue going to teams, although he added that the league would keep both the team and league brands far more dominant on the uniforms.
"We're not soliciting offers, and we're not actively pursuing the category," he told the newspaper. "At some point in the future, the NBA owners will have a decision to make. There may come a time, in recognition of the exposure that the uniforms get, that there's a value proposition that would cause us to consider changing our policies."
