Top incoming freshman Tyler Honeycutt is still inactive with a small fracture in his back. It's apparently a hairline fracture and they now think he's had it for at least 2 years. He took a hard fall in a HS all star game earlier this year and they thought the injury happened then, but they've now decided he had it before then. They're still hoping he'll be ready to go by the season opener but he's not able to go now.
And now word comes from Malcolm Lee's twitter page that he has been experiencing knee pain and is going to have an MRI. Lee figures to be UCLA's best player so if he has any health problems it would be a huge setback.
Really hard to peg UCLA this year they have a lot of talent but everyone is young save for 3 seniors, they really need big years from Dragovic, Roll and Keefe to help the youngsters out. IF everyone manages to get healthy UCLA could be ok.
