While getting the Brooklyn pick from the Celtics?

Basically Love would go to Boston
Cleveland would get to dump Varejao on us or the Celtics
Cleveland would get Crowder/Morris/Teletovic/Tucker/Olynyk shoring up their depth and shooting
Phoenix would get Brooklyn pick, David Lee and contracts (Johnson, Jerebko, whatever)

There are countless variations of how this could happen under the cap with Varjeao going to either Cleveland or Phoenix, Tucker going to either Boston or Cleveland etc or even Knight or Bledsoe going to Cleveland

that would be pretty amazing, but is ANOTHER team really going to give up a top 2 pick for Love?

slin, the third link did not lead to a trade, just to the form you use to input a trade... for all I know thats what you intended...

Did I miss something? Is there any indication that Celtics want Love and that Cavs want to trade him?

There was a recent report that stated they'd talked about it but I didn't read it so I don't know how valid the headline was.

Given McD's history with Boston, I would expect if there was an opportunity for a 3rd team to get involved, Phoenix should get a call.

I've read that Cleveland has interest in Markieff. Of course Cleveland doesn't have any assets the Suns would be interested in as they're built to win now with maybe a 3-4 year window. Any sort of draft picks they own aren't valuable and they don't really have any young talent worth inquiring about. I thought Boston would make a good trade partner for Markieff because they're so young and loaded with draft picks. If they're looking to win now and swing a deal with Cleveland for Love I could see the Suns getting involved just to provide veterans like Markieff, Tucker, and maybe Chandler to either side. I'm not sure either team would want or need Knight to push them to the next level. Backcourt help is easier to get than frontcourt.
