The Dallas Cowboys, under new head coach/offensive play-caller Brian Schottenheimer, will be a different-looking proposition than in previous years.
Not known for being physically tough, Schottenheimer's coaching hires and draft selections point to the Cowboys being a tough, gritty, physical football team, and one that has leaders everywhere you look.
And that's something that new guard Tyler Booker will look to help instill.
For Schottenheimer, the manner in which Booker approaches the game and how fierce a competitor he is, you can't help but get caught up in it.
“It is contagious, it really is,” Schottenheimer said. “It's something that we will practice, it's something that we will talk about, and to add people like Tyler that have that mentality, it just rubs off on the entire team, the entire program. There's going to be an expectation to win when we step on the field, we expect to win, and having that confidence, that relentless competitive nature, it's contagious and he'll add another component to that.”

A leader at Alabama, Booker knows that he will have to start from square one at The Star, but he's more than comfortable paying his dues, and with the offensive line looking different than in previous years, with no Zack Martin, Booker has some big shoes to fill.
Granted, not many will be able to fill Martin's shoes at right guard, but Booker is determined to carve out his own path in the NFL, with his contagious mentality of making people lose their love for football a feature.
Tyler is everything that Schottenheimer and the coaching staff want in a player, and he's ready to get to work as Dak Prescott's newest protector.
Loving what you do is half the battle, and we have heard all offseason of the Cowboys wanting players that love football, and for Tyler, his love is contagious, and Dallas hopes that he can be the lightning rod in the winds of change currently blowing positively through The Star in 2025.
