Cowboys RB Murray breaks right ankle (AP)

Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray has a broken right ankle, ending his rookie season. Murray was hurt at the end of an 8-yard run in the first quarter against the Giants on Sunday night. He was taken for X-rays, and in the third quarter the club announced he had both a broken right ankle and a high ankle sprain.
