Cowboys, rookie WR Lamb agree on $14 million, 4-year deal

The Dallas Cowboys and rookie receiver CeeDee Lamb agreed Thursday on a $14 million, four-year contract with $7.8 million guaranteed. The Cowboys were surprised the former Oklahoma standout was available with the 17th pick in the draft, taking Lamb despite greater needs on defense and just a few weeks after giving receiver Amari Cooper a $100 million, five-year contract. Lamb joins a young receiving corps led by the 26-year-old Cooper and third-year player Michael Gallup, who is coming off his first 1,000-yard season.
