I kow Dallas has money invested in Hutchenson but I find it hard to believe no one has thought of the possibility that Jones and Parcels won't take Palmer or Leftwhich if they are there at #5. If either guy is there, I say the Cowboys will select a QB and not a DE or a CB. The problem with the Cowboys , sorry- the Convects, has not been the defense the last couple of years.

GO TROOPS!!!, go cardinals!

The Felon's problem isn't a lack of young promising QB's (they have Hutchison and Quincy Carter). It was that their youngsters were forced into action too early.

They need a veteran QB who can stabilize the situation and give Carter and Hutchison the chance to develop.

But...

Neither one of those guys can make them say they have a franchise QB on their hands. Dallas, with Parcels on board, might think that they are fortunate to be able to draft this high and there future production won't give them this chance again anytime soon (I don't believe this but they might in buying into that typical 'we are the freaking Dallas Cowboys' and where a top five team junk) to be in such a draft position. Hutchenson comes across as a potential journey man QB after his baseball stint and Carter is just horrible, I heard the people at Georgia couldn't wait for him to leave.

I was never a huge chad fan when he was at Stanford but he does have NFL ability. Considering how rusty he must have been from baseball I thought he did fairly well last year. If he doesn't improve this year I'd be surprised.

That said I agree they may well take a QB because if Hutchinson improves it just gives them trade leverage.
