With two minutes to go the Coyotes are beating the defending champions
2-0. Bryzgalov has been big in the net and I am happy to see the Coyotes score on two power plays.

I hope this year the team does not have ahuge slump after the All-Star break, like they have in the past. I don't think this coaching staff will allow it.

Coyotes win 3-0!!! I know it's very early but I am liking what I have seen so far. Is it alright to get my hopes up?:)

Another great game, it's really encouraging to see us get off to such a good start. Hopefully we can keep it going. Cant wait for the White Out on Sat!

definitely a nice win

they did a good job at staying disciplined in the 3rd and not making it easy on pitt by giving away PP chances - i can forgive aucoin for that interference call............

they did well on the PK, their PP came through, they did a good job at creating turnovers and breaks and to me controlled the play throughout the game

short rest, but a short trip, up to buffalo

keep it going yotes

First time I have actually sat down and watched a coyote game at home in years. It was a lot of fun. I know this team was picked to finish dead last in the west, but that sure didn't look like a last place team to me...

They had some solid pickups this offseason. This team has some real experience now. I am still not sold on the backup Goalie, but I can see this team making a run at the 6-8 seed.

man this team is fun to watch. I wish it was easier to make the trip to Glendale or I would go to more Coyotes games.

Yes, They killed my Penguins.

Who the heck is this guy ?

Matthew Lombardi <----- Wow, he is fast.

That was a great game the Yotes played last night, the Pens could hardly get it through the neutral zone, and forget about any possession in the attacking zone, it was non-exhistant.

No excuse, you beat our tails at home.

Good luck with the rest of the season, the white out, and hopefully the madness surrounding the team end with the Yotes staying in AZ.

BTW
Bryzgalov has been big in the net and I am happy to see the Coyotes score on two power plays.

I do agree the goalie did a good job last night, but I was more impressed with your team's defense, and how they played as a unit. A majority of the Penguins shots were in situations where they were forced to shoot at the goalie and hope it squeaked by him.

The Yotes as a whole played a awesome defensive game. To say I was impressed was an understatement.

Good stuff Rugby, I agree with all of it.

We picked up Lombardi from the Flames, for the under performing Jokinen, and he's been really solid both offensively and defensively. Scottie Upshall has looked strong as well.

The major difference I saw, beyond the solid D, was the aggressiveness and passion the Coyotes were playing with. They were hitting at every opportunity, and it seemed to wear on the Pens.

Granted, with their backup goalie in, I'm sure the Pens thought it would be a cakewalk, but still a solid win, and with such uncertainly surrounding the team, a much needed confidence boost.

Amazing what a real coach can do...

Back up goalie, whatever. Johnson was on point last night. Both those goals would have got past Fluery as well. That was a solid win.

I think that when you have the BIGGEST name in the game as a head coach it puts too much pressure on the players. All they want to do is impress the coach. I think the Yotes might have a real good season this year, make the playoffs, and maybe the fans can make a bid to buy the team?? Im not a big hockey fan, but I do know that there are enough of you guys here to appoint a head of your organization, and make it work. Maybe Im just talking through the Coors Light, but it seems to work in Green Bay. then again I dont know all the inner operations of the Packers.
