Jason Statham takes 'Crank' again

Jason Statham will reprise the role of hitman Chev Chelios in Crank 2: High Voltage for Lionsgate and Lakeshore Entertainment.

The film will once again be written and directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, the team that created the original 2006 sleeper hit.

In Crank 2, Chelios faces a Chinese mobster who has stolen his nearly indestructible heart and replaced it with a battery-powered ticker that requires regular jolts of electricity to keep working.

Production should begin early next year.

I thought he died and crashed through a car, but I guess if this is about replacing a heart of someone, then they will make him live after falling out of the sky form 6 miles above.
