Former Jets CB Antonio Cromartie reached agreement on a one-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals, per ESPN source.

I'm sure that I'm not the only one wondering? What were the terms? Anyone know?

Great work by Steve Keim and Patrick Peterson.

Hopefully the Cardinals get the 2012 A.C. version. :koolaid:

If Cromartie is healthy, great get by Steve Keim and #AzCardinals. Peterson/Cromartie start, Powers/Mathieu in slot. Now you draft a safety.

BWAHAHAHAHA nice!

hopefully he has a monster year while we groom new # 2's.

Safety is all we NEED at this point. The rest is servicable or very good imo.

OLB still somewhat deficient.

Good stuff. Nice job SK....Our secondary is shaping up. I do believe we will draft a safety in the first 3 rounds.

Actually even the right tackle spot should be considered

Yesterday the cardinals staff met kony ealy.can he slide to 52?

Need some Inside Linebacker depth which should come from the draft.

Love the low risk signing. Now he can compete for the #2 spot.

Wonder if we still go after Jenkins and then go S in the draft.

Hip joint is said to be OK. You would think the Cardinals would have thoroughly checked that before making the offer.

Antonio Cromartie avoids hip surgery
by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com
A trip to a specialist in California has revealed that Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartiedoes not need surgery on his hip, per the New York Daily News.
Cromartie was suffering from a hip flexor throughout the 2013 season, but was told there was nothing wrong with his hip joint. He said he has been rehabbing for three weeks and expects to be 100 percent by the end of February.
He will likely not be back with the Jets next season. He expects to be cut so the team can remain under the salary cap.

If he can play like he used to we have a good pick up. Anybody watch any tape on him from last year to see how good he was?

Once again Keim doesn't blink first!

My guess is Cro went home and had his agent put feelers out to other interested teams, to see if a multi-year deal was out there for him...and their probably wasn't.

good low-risk prove it player. even if he can't beat out powers, he'll probably be an okay 3rd CB. and if he is actually healthy, we've got two damn good corners now.

Antonio not to happy with the Jets organization for releasing him.

It's amazing how you can be so loyal to someone and they can be so disloyal to you. But you live and you learn.

Woot! SK comes through again.

Even if Cro can't return all the way to his past level of play, he should still be an upgrade on Powers. This defense is going to be really, really fun to watch this year.
