Crusaders beat Blues 43-27 in Super Rugby Aotearoa

All Blacks flyhalf Richie Mo’unga scored a try among 28 points Sunday as defending champions the Crusaders beat the Auckland-based Blues 43-27 in a match between unbeaten teams in Super Rugby Aotearoa. Mo’unga added to his try with five penalties and four conversions as the Christchurch-based Crusaders repelled a strong challenge from the Blues to move clear atop the table in the New Zealand domestic competition. The Crusaders led 17-8 after a tight first half and stretched that lead in the face of a strong Blues’ challenge in the second spell.
