ACT Brumbies flyhalf Noah Lolesio missed the sideline conversion of backrower Rob Valetini's last-minute try, allowing New Zealand’s Crusaders to win 31-29 in the new Australia-New Zealand Super Rugby tournament on Saturday. Valetini stretched over the Crusaders’ goal line in the last minute of normal time to give the Canberra-based Brumbies the chance of an unexpected draw against the New Zealand champions.
