Cruz leaves Game 5 with tight hamstring (AP)

Texas Rangers outfielder Nelson Cruz left Game 5 of the AL championship series Wednesday with tightness in his troublesome left hamstring. Cruz was replaced in left field by David Murphy in the bottom of the fifth inning against the New York Yankees. He is day to day. The slugger missed 51 games this season because of hamstring injuries that landed him on the disabled list three times.
