IF AND WHEN HEALTHY...
TM is still a very good player and having him and Budda on the team is a good thing. With that said, if he needs to be used to get us a long term QBOTF, I can live.
TM put it on the line for the Cards and will go forward the rest of his life with the aftermath of two major knee injuries. Don't blame him for not wanting to budge off his contract.
Hope he has the same kind of return to health that Thomas Davis of the Panthers had---bad injuries and now playing at a high level again.
I recall a play this season with HB blitzing the QB and the screen pass went to the RB---HB turned and trailed the play and ended up assisting on the tackle 20 yards down the field.
Whatever happens with TM---always a fan of the Honey Badger and the way he played for the Cards.
There were more more than a couple games he was nowhere to be found. What impact was there in the blowout losses? He had real coverage issues in the slot this past season. Not saying it's easy or anything...just saying, he can compromise a bit for an added year if he wants.I remember the pick in Indy. I remember the pick against Jacksonville. The guy played the most snaps of anyone on D. After people swore he couldn’t stay healthy.
Omg please please please let that be true!!! What could we get Walter? 5 or 6th at most?Patrick Peterson was just on with Bickley and said that he heard that TM was being mentioned in trade rumors. While PP thought the notion of that is ludicrous, he said that TM is in a good, happy place with his family.
As we all sense, the elephant in the room is TM's contract. Something has to give. And if he is traded a new deal would have to be agreed to by the team who trades for him and TM's agent. No team is going to inherit the current contract.

Imo it’s time! Should’ve done it before the deadline imo.
Not going to happen, nobody is trading anything for 28 mil guaranteed over the next two years. Remember he has had two major knee injuries. Not to mention we have an almost 10 mil dead cap hit too.
That's assuming he doesn't agree to restructure...

Chances are he’s going to get the call from the Turk & free to play wherever.True
What makes you say he hasn’t live up to it?
Why are we always in salary cap hell? We have to get better at negotiating extensions and signing free agents.
