Addison Russell arrived at Busch Stadium on Saturday morning without any trace of an injury, but the Cubs shortstop isn’t in the lineup for the second consecutive game against the Cardinals. Manager Joe Maddon said Russell remains nagged by a finger injury and general soreness in his legs, adding that Russell will return to the lineup on Sunday night. Russell is hitless in his last two games (0-for-6). Javier Baez, who hit his 20th home run of the season in the Cubs’ 5-2 loss on Friday, will start at shortstop.
