I dont want him back unless his pricetag is free.

Not after the way he dissed the Dbacks after he won his stupid Boston ring.

I don't care how rude a guy was, if the Dbacks could sign him to a reasonable deal, and they think he could still pitch, bring him in. However, since RJ will be here, I doubt Curt could be brought in with out splitting the clubhouse.

I'd find it hard to believe that he would want to come back here (RJ style) and that we'd entertain signing him. He burnt his bridge, no thanks

Makes me sick to know that stupid sock is on display in Cooperstown. Not to downplay the fact that he fought through injury but give me a break. Schilling has never been one to shy away from the spotlight, lets just say he made no attempt to stop the bleeding.

This from Rotoworld:

Curt Schilling would like an extension at the same terms of his current deal, but the Red Sox weren't willing to agree to that right away.

"I had hoped it was that simple, it's just not," said Schilling, who will earn $13 million this season. "As much as we like to think things can be taken care of easily and quickly, this is a business and I understand that." If a deal can't get done by Opening Day, Schilling has no desire to carry talks into the regular season. "In the days leading up to spring training we'll figure it out one way or the other," he said. "If I go into this season without a contract from the Red Sox, then I will go out and find a home for 2008."
