Probably trying to get him some different looks. He'll see better pitches batting 4th than 8th. If he REALLY wants Miggy to snap out of it, let him hit in front of Goldschmidt for a few games.

So the jackass umpire Baker, apparently spits out multiple pieces of gum into shallow left center every game. They showed about 5 pieces that are there right now as he apparently does it in between innings. He does it on purpose every game!
