D-Dogg's Game-By-Game Madden 2008 Cardinals Season

A comment by DCR in the Madden thread got me thinking. I'm going to play my franchise this year one game a week, along with the team. I'll play it, post the stats and general breakdown of what happened. Then we'll see how close to reality it is. I will only play one game a week (regular season only).

I already played the first game, and won 24-17. However, I will restart this and roll with the updated roster when it comes out before the season starts (no Chike or Ross, etc.)

Is this something you guys might be interested in reading? From my end, I think it will make my franchise more fun, drawing it out in real time.

I think it's a cool idea...but, I like Kumites so take my approval with a grain of salt...

Ok, that's enough interest for me. I'm doing it.

I'll fiddle with the sliders to make it as realistic as I can. I'll also bench players if they are hurt in the real world.

Umm...I think I already have 1 & 2, but when burning me in effigy, they don't chant anti-dotKen slogans...otherwise, I'm good to go!

I'll probably play 5 minute quarters, but I'll look into the forums and such because there are always people posting the most "realistic" settings for time and sliders and everything.

ah... that makes sense... I had tried a full 15 minute quarter once and the end game scores would have just been ridiculous so I never played a real time complete game, at least I know that it is normal.
