After Isaiah Thomas posted a series of messages on his Instagram Story to remind everyone how incredible he was with the Boston Celtics, news broke that the 5-foot-9 guard agreed on a one-year, $2 million veteran's minimum deal with the Denver Nuggets. In 2017, Thomas was an MVP candidate, became a two-time All-Star and dropped 53 points in a playoff win. It was the hip injury he suffered in the postseason that year that changed everything - he's not getting the Brinks truck full of cash he had hoped for this offseason. The good news is that Thomas had successful hip surgery when he was with the Lakers this past season and says he's finally pain free. This one-year Nuggets deal could be his chance
