I kinda liked the first...I'd rather have Eddie Murphy back in the lead role.

I checked rotten tomatoes last night, and this movie was at a whopping 2% fresh!

I'd think she's a bit old for it. In 7th grade I was hoping to go see more "big boy" movies so I could be able to talk about them in school. I'm not even sure what kid movies were out around them, but none really caused any excitement in middle schools even if the kids did watch Nick and other channels like that. Hey, I still do (shhh!) but I wouldn't go see a movie like this in theaters. Oh, I just realized that Daddy Day Care was in 2003, when I was 12....I thought it was a nice movie, but not one I'd want to see in theaters or one that I definitely had to see. I can even see it in my brother, not being interested in those kid movies anymore at 11.

I think it's more geared toward elementary school kids around 5-9 or 10 years old. The kids who don't rate movies on rotten tomato's. It's just the way people make fun of it that doesn't make much sense to me. Many of you are around 30 years older than the target audience and are used to seeing great movies, such as Martin Scorsesee's for example...of course you'll think it sucks, most of the non-Pixar kid movies do, but to some of the little kids it'll be the movie of the year. lol....

I loved the original. I even got a little excited when the trailer started for Daddy Day Camp, but buy the time it was over I didn't want to see it. I like to watch alot of "kids" movies but this just looks bad.

on a side note: wtf happened to Cuba Gooding Jr?

I think he means, why isn't an oscar award winning actor doing more movies, and why is he doing crap like this when he IS making movies.

But that's just a guess :D

Anyone purchasing a ticket for this film should be prohibited from ever procreating.

Sorry Nasser.

The only people who see this film should be those with young kids, and even they should be watching something else :)

A possible challenger for IMDB's bottom 100?

Yes indeed, #63. It also won a razzie for worst sequel.

Sorry Nasser.

While I don't share abomb's passionate disdain for this movie, I recently watched it and it was pretty awful. It seemed like they didn't even try to write a decent script. The only character I found a little funny was Richard Gant as the crazy grandpa. My kids liked it though, so what are you gonna do?

My boy (5) likes it.

It is what it is. I mindless, half-assed kids movie.
