Has Harry going in round 2 hopefully he's still in the board when we come up again

Quinnen Williams dropping to #4 and Greedy Williams falling all the way to #16. That's certainly different.

I confess - I'd rather we'd draft Q Williams over Bosa. Strictly a matter of that horrible word: "need." (Barring injury, trades etc.), the Cards can be pretty hard-charging off the edge with C Jones and Golden. But return to the 3-4 may leave us inconistent and a bit soft on the interior DT. Thus: Q Williams over Bosa.

It's kind of ironic that a high draft pick should "drop" to #4. (If we were trade down from #1 to #4, what would that move be worth (a) on the open market or (2) what we'd accept in a trade?

Golden is a free agent and probably will get more money with another team. Q Williams is more suited for a 4 - 3 than a 3 - 4. which we will be running.

So much depends on what we do in free agency. If we strengthen the team in key areas we can trade down ( if there’s a buyer) and pick up an additional 2 or 3 high picks. Bosa has enough question marks about him to warrant trading down.

N'Keal Harry does not have great speed and doesn't get much separation.

He reminds me a bit of former ASU receiver Jaelen Strong.

He's way better than Stong in every way. He's not a burner but he's big and physical the perfect guy to take over that slot position from Larry when he retires.

So does every other player, which makes getting back the value for trading out of #1 difficult. There's just not a king's ransom haul to be had this year. I don't think there's "an additinal 2 to 3 high picks" to be had this year. I wouldn't be surprised if the best offer we got to trade down a few picks is their second and a late pick this year or mid round pick next year.

I am good with trading down but San Fran getting Bosa scares the hell out of me. That's a major weakness Cards have been exploiting last few seasons getting instantly upgraded.

You’re right . But a desperate buyer will pay. I would accept nothing less than another teams 1st , 2nd and 2nd next year. There are chart values out there that will tell you what a first pick is worth. If a team is willing to move up they are aware of the cost.

As much as I would love to keep N'Keal home, we really need to focus on the OL in rounds 2 to 4, there will be some starter quality guys that can make immediate impacts.

I hope we trade down in round two and was able to address the OL and parlay the trade into grabbing N'Keal!

I hope Andre Dillard drops to our pick in second round as he would be my preference to play LT in Kingsbury's offense. Cajuste looks like a a nice LT prospect as well. Would love to someway get a pass rusher, Harry and a LT with our first 3 picks. Would have to be a trade down and the pass rusher may be Allen as dropping past 4 would take us out of Bosa range.

My boy Daniel Jones is moving on up. I would take his pedigree over Haskins. Nurtured under David Cutcliffe ( he tutored the Manning Brothers ).

This is what worried me about Michael Floyd when I watched his highlights, he almost never got separation and we all saw how that turned out.

I think Floyd was athletic enough but for some reason he couldn't get it done.

IMO, Harry will have to be a lot like Boldin as @GatorAZ points out to be successful. Harry does run good routes and he is going to win the jump balls with his strength.

Harry does remind me of Jaelen Strong though. I thought Strong would be better so there is not much room for error as he is not going to get a lot of separation.

The only think Stong and Harry have in common is they both played WR for ASU. Your talking about two legit diffrent levels of talent

Honestly just don't see how people are seeing this. Look at Harry return punts and look at his highlights, Strong could never do those things

If we can trade down to #4 and pick up one of Oakland other first rounders I do it. If Q. Williams is there at 4 run to the podium. At 24 or 27 at least one of Butler, Harmon, Brown or Harry will be there for WR. Take best OT at the top of round 2 and we are a much better team.
