Overview

Kouandijo has a massive frame, with a thick trunk and long arms. In the run game, he has quick feet and is able to generate movement at the point of attack despite playing with a high pad level. He is inconsistent at the second level and his balance needs to improve. In the passing game, he has the quickness to cut off speed rushers but he plays very high, is late to shoot his hands, and will get overpowered at times. If he improves his punch, it will solve a lot of his issues.

Sounds like strength and technique are his issue, both things that can be fixed with coaching and john lott.

Cyrus Kuandjio - See Levi Brown

And that is what causes the anxiety surrounding this guy.

Yet, to be fair, there are a lot of "whispers, and rumors" that Levi Brown had work ethic issues. But, that comes from speculation from sports analysts, and rumors from Pittsburgh coming off the trade, so it is a weak statement at best.

How would Pittsburgh even know? He tore his bicep or triceps ending his season before he even played a single game with them?

In this order the cardinals main needs are TE, T, and pass rusher. BPA at anyone of these position in the first round.

Given his play, nothing speculated or the rumors so to speak of should be questioned IMO. Come on Rugby, you know what kind of trash he was...I mean is. He's an average player AT BEST. Good riddance :p

Mine, which is correct :D, LT then pass rusher then TE. I'm fine if BPA in rd1 is a TE because it is a big need.

He'd be a great pick for the Cards. The Levi Brown comparisons are baseless. You could just as easily compare him Trent Williams, Russell Okung, or Ryan Clady and you'd probably be more accurate.

Btw, I think this is one of the better overall mocks I have seen to date.

How can a player be both Trash and Average at the same time? If he's trash, you get rid of him...If he's average, you keep him.

the "issues" were noted by Jurecki

some work issues, but more along the lines of he just wasnt personally competitive -- didnt seem to to take it personally that he was often the weak link or it was him getting his QB killed. The fact that he raised his play heading into free agency soured people as well -- it showed he could do it, but didnt consistently.

Some are valid. He had some issues with speed around the edge. We need highly motivated talent early. He just seems somewhat lackadaisical at times. Others he can be dominant. But he has to bring intensity all the time and I don't see it. At #20 I want INTENSITY! :D

We agree on the biggest need. I still can't get over the Cardinals passing on Ryan Mallet for Housler of Flordia Atlantic in the 3rd. When you have a 1st round guy sitting there in the 3rd round you take him. Especially if he is a QB.

Back to subject: Bruce Arians needs a TE to make his offense work. IMO, Dray and Ballard fits in nicely as the back-ups. Acho and okeafor shod be back next season to add to the pass rush. I expect a lot of production from those 2.

I hope they resign Winston at RT. I rather see the Cardinals sign a LT in FA instead of being forced to draft one before they want to.
