Danny White returns to AWA tomorrow!

I guess I am the only one here interested in the Rattlers. They won a hard fought contest. The score looks closer than it was since the Blaze scored with no time left in the game. I was impressed a lot of Blaze fans came down to Phoenix to cheer their team on.

It has been a difficult couple of seasons for my boys in black and to me Coach Danny's return was not really going to be a high point. It is hard to watch, especially as a fan without much control of certain things, those people who had so many outstanding moments as Rattlers on the other side of the field.

While there is a certain satisfaction in the win it is still sad to see what one uncaring owner was able to do to the team. I really do believe that we are on our way back, even with the poor record so far. As a Rattler fan I never had to watch a "rebuilding" effort before and I hope that in this league, filled with comings and goings, that the team is given every chance to complete the effort.

We are facing a challenge this weekend going up against the Kats, who are 4-1 and leading their division after our sad effort against the Destroyers. Our depleted fan base has been a concern since last season though there aren’t better fans in the league.

I am really disappointed, too. I cannot fault Sarver's efforts with the Suns. However, we NEED a new owner for the Rattler's very badly. I had thoughts if I hit the $300 million lottery of trying to buy the team. It's sad to see one of the cornerstones of the AFL having such a downturn. We still could mathematically make the playoffs if we continue to win. It's looking bleak, though.
