From a recent ESPN chat with Jack Ramsey

Vinnie (Raleigh, NC): Can Cleveland move Darius Miles? It sounds like they are trying to but NOBODY wants him.

Dr. Jack Ramsay: (4:38 PM ET ) Miles is athletic, but has trouble understanding his role on a team...there doesn't seem to be much interest in him.

I still think he could be a good player. I wonder if something as simple as Jacobsen and the #17 would land him?

That's giving up too much for Miles, IMO. The 17 alone is way too much. If our pick was around 24-27, I'd consider it, but we can find a much better SF than Miles at 17....

That may be true if you are considering money, but based on his play Miles is easily worth that draft pick.

The problem with Miles a Sun, though, would be his outside shooting. He would really need to improve that to get much playing time other than the few minutes behind Marion.

As I said, you could get a better SF that actually fit on this team at #17 than Miles. There's a reason no one wants him. He's athletic, but that's it. He has no shot, no dribble and he's a poor FT shooter. If you think he's well worth the #17, good for you, but I just hope it doesn't come true....
