Since he has no history I think a fine would be in order. But it would not surprise me if they suspended him a game.

I can't imagine a suspension coming from that. Fine, yes, suspension, no.

How about our old All Pro Dan Dierdoff who often bit people. Would that be worthy of a suspension? Darnell stomping on someone would not surprise me if he is as mean as he looks. That is part of his charm. In high school I watched one of my team mates stomp on a hand sticking out of a pile. I do not even think he knew if it was one of our guys or the other guys. I do know he was half crazy and I steered clear of him.

I think that was Dobler who bit people. Dierdorf was strait-up dominant.

Dobler once played with a broken arm. He had it casted into a large mace-like weapon that he would swing widely to club defensive players.

If he gets suspended for this then SUH might as well be thrown in jail.

I seen it when it happened - and knew suspension was probable- couldn't believe a flag wasn't thrown. We got away with more than I ever remember - especially the fumble return from the goal line!

We are getting better each week- and DD has been better lately- I still hold old resentments against the dude- but this he deserves - hope he don't come back with stupidity plea that insults us AZ fans again. just take it like a man.

Suspension? come on man...if what he did required that, the NFL could not field any teams due to players being out of the lineup. The antics of players from the past like Conrad Dobler make Dockett look like a child playing pranks lol

I doubt it. Not really surprising considering what a punk he is. Hopefully he leaves the team soon!

Stomp is a pretty strong term for what that was. A fine yes, a suspension OTOH... lets get those conspiracy theories a rollin'.

If Dockett is suspended then Chris Williams should be as well. The NFL cracked down on offensive linemen "cleaning up the pile" when John Runyan was diving on people 12 years ago; Dockett was basically defenseless when he got hit

Fully agree.

Sure I wish DD hadn't done that but it's on the same level as I wish the driver in front of me didn't take an extra second to notice the light turned green.

If a player had done this to one of our guys, we'd be screaming for him to be suspended.

Suh got 2 games for stomping, didn't he? 1 for his history and one for the act itself.

So I would not be surprised to see the Cards get the shaft on this one, especially given the media's interest in it.

Is this really worth a thread? We had a nice win Sunday and this is all we have to talk about? Unreal.

If Dockett gets suspended it can have a major impact on the ability of the team to win the Titans game. So it is important enough to talk about as far as I'm concerned.

You are absolutely correct it was Conrad Dobler who was part wolf and bit people. My age is showing.

Here is the question that always nagged me about Dobler admitting to that he bit the opposition. Actually I think I read it in an interview of him once and it made total sense. How does he bite someone with a facemask unless they are sticking their fingers through the face mask?

I say if you put your hands on and stick you fingers inside my face mask then that's a foul and so I'll exact my own justice.
