Played the best defensive line in football today and it was turn around and run it right up the middle.

No threat at all in the passing game. Did we even attempt a throw of more than 20 yards?

Just stack the box our passing game is no threat

I'm sorry, this is a dumb post. If you can't see that the offensive coordinator utilizing him is the problem, you don't understand how football works. His route tree this year vs last year is so much simpler and limiting which is why he isn't making any impact in the passing game.

In reality its a legitimate question, he had one good year so far, was injured his entire second year, and in year three he looks absolutey anemic. I'm not saying its all on him, but he's just not producing other than one good year . Barry Sanders was on some terrible football teams but still put up numbers despite opposing teams always scheming to stop him.

I had the opportunity to draft Johnson on my fantasy team. I didn't. I chose Kamara. When asked why it was a simple choice. The Cards have a washed up Qb. Retreads of an offensive line and the team has no WR's except for Fitz who is NOT a deep threat. Teams are going to easily play 8-9 men in the box with no fear of consequences.

DJ is a beast playing on a totally inept offense and a predictable play caller in McCoy.

This is wrong. Great rookie season, followed up by a greater second season. Last two seasons throw in the dumpster.

Your timeline is off...he had things submitted to the HOF his rookie year...then set the league on fire his 2nd year...injured in year 3.

So a good year as a rookie, where he did some amazing things....and then an amazing 2nd year....2 out of 3 years good.

He's not off this year, the play calling is. He shouldn't be running up the middle.

Can you not make the argument that he's just a system player under the previous regime? Where is the evidence to suggest otherwise? He's been entirely taken out of 2 games so far this year, the gameplan is out on him, and every single team we play will do the same thing as the Skins and Rams did. It is a thought-provoking question; we have not seen anything out of Johnson for a while now.
