The Boston Bruins fell to the Washington Capitals by a 4-3 final score on April 1. With this, the Bruins extended their losing streak to nine games and now sport a 30-36-9 record on the season.

While the Bruins are continuing to fall, superstar David Pastrnak is still doing his part to keep them in games. The 2014 first-round pick had another strong performance against the Capitals, scoring two goals on the night. Unfortunately, it was still not enough for the Bruins to get their first win since March 11.

Both of Pastrnak's goals were also nice ones, too. For his first tally, No. 88 beat Capitals goalie Charlie Lindgren with a perfectly placed one-timer. His second was also a beauty, as he showed great skill with the puck before beating Lindgren with a great wrist shot.

After this impressive night, Pastrnak now has 37 goals and 88 points in 75 contests. While the Bruins have certainly disappointed big time this season, Pastrnak has still had a great year.
