I just saw the highlight of the foul ball Nomar missed. You are absolutely right. ridiculous.Tony ties it with a 2-run homer but those two runs were a gift. The Dodgers should of been out of it a pitch earlier, but I'll take it.

It took a nasty hop right before it got to him. Hit Tony in the chest and rolled out to RF.
I thought for a second it might be charged as an error and rob Gonzo of #2500, but after seeing it again it was hit pretty stinkin' hard.

That's what most of us at the game were wondering. We were so into the game that we had no idea it was Gonzo's 2,500th. No recognition at all at Chase. I guess they mentioned it on TV and radio.

BTW: The "Anybody, Anytime." shirts are awesome. Given to everyone in attendance. The front says "Anybody, Anytime." on all of the shirts, but the backs all have different feats by different players printed on them. We each got Micah Owings shirts. We saw Byrnes, Valverde, Clark, Young, Drew, Webb, Hudson, and maybe a couple of others. Very nice to recognize the accomplishments of the players and put more into free shirts than people expected.
