According to ESPN.com's Jayson Stark, teams that have checked in on Matt Garza are being told he could sign "in the next 24-48 hours." Reportedly, much of the buzz points in the direction of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Don't get the infatuation with Garza. 3.84 career ERA, 1.28 whip. Only one year in his career with an ERA below 3.69... Hardly ace material.

If we gave him a 3 year 30 mil contract like the #3 pitcher he is... then I could live with it, but I feel like he is going to get a lot more than that.

•There's a growing feeling among executives that Garza will sign soon, according to Joel Sherman of the New York Post, who tweets that the D-Backs and Angels are viewed as the favorites.
•According to Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register (Twitter link), however, the Angels aren't expecting to sign anyone today, so it doesn't appear Garza is close to signing with them.

I read somewhere yesterday that Garza wanted to sign before the end of the winter meetings.

It this happens

1 - Corbin (3)
2 - Garza (3)
3 - Miley (3)
4 - Cahill (4)
5 - Delgado (5)

With Bradley sitting in the wings. If we decide to move Cahill for RP help, then Bradley can slide into the rotation. The reality is that it would most likely be Mccarthy unless Bradley is litghts out in Spring Training. Mccarthy was decent in September, with an ERA of 3.53, so if he is heatly it could get interesting. Still no Ace though, but Bradley has the most potenial.

After thier name is what I think they really are right now. Corbin can be a #2 and if Bradley can turn into an Ace, the Bradley-Corbin-Miley combination wil be nice of a few year.

I think you have that all about right... If Corbin can replicate his first 3/4ths of last season, he could be a very solid #2... And Bradley is still a wildcard in my book. Until we see him perform well at the AAA level, I can't get comfy betting on his appearance in the bigs...
