A bit late, and there's no game tomorrow -- Ortiz is on the mound.

Welcome home, btw -- we're in the cellar of the NL West already.

Batista vs. Seo tonight -- let's hope the good Miggy shows up, and our

Papa Grande looked awesome!!! He just closed it by sitting 3 straight batters down. We came out hot but barely hung on to that win....

I am sooooooo sick of Shawn Green and his boringness. The guy jogs around right field and looks extremely lazy when trying to make plays. Did any of you notice when that line drive was hit to Green and Lofton advanced to 3rd from 1st???? Lofton would have most likely made it anyways but when watching the replay you can see Green come up to the ball and slowly field it as if he thought Lofton was gonna pull up at 2nd. Green looked up and noticed that Lofton was going to third but had no momentum and double-hopped the throw to third. Did he forget that Lofton is one of the best/fastest baserunners in the game, even at 40 years old?????? Then Green backs it up at the plate with an 0-3 performance that included 2 KO's.

IMO, he has no place on our roster especially when he's taking up Quentins spot in RF. I would not be upset at all if we just waived him, Matt Williams style, and ate his contract. He's completely useless and is hindering Q's development. At least he has a great attitude...... What a chop

Anybody else appreciating Hudson's play in the field? I don't think the average fan realizes how many runs he takes away with his defence.

The Dbacks have never had a better infielder. The guy makes a gold glove play every game and he's gonna get a ton of chances with all the right handed sinker ball pitching we have.

Day game + Dodger Stadium + Russ Ortiz

As Elmer Fudd would say, "The Howwer, The Howwer, The Howwer"

Lately he has played well in the field but the first couple weeks of the season I wasn't impressed. I disagree that we have not had a better fielder. While they are not interior infielders, Mark Grace and Matt Williams were pretty damn good with the glove. They might not have had the flash that Hudson has but they were very effective and were gold glovers. Counsell is very good as well but not GG material. All three mentioned have/had better bats than Hudson as well...

Please get Ortiz out of the rotation. Four runs in the first and it could of been worse if not for the dumb running by Drew. Put Ortiz in the bullpen, or in Tucson or on the DL. I don't want to see him start another game.

C'mon guys, get it going. Or are you planning to excavate a sub-basement?

Grace was a great first baseman but he had lost a step by the time he go tho the Dbacks. Williams was really solid for a couple of years but was very vanilla. Counsel is a classic utility infielder.
