Chase has 10 runs of support in 7 starts. His record is 0-1, his ERA is 2.81 and his WHIP is 1.10.

The DBacks offense has been feast or famine. He has been starving for offense when he pitches.

he's having a tough go in the win column, i'm thoroughly impressed with his performance this year though. (not surprised however, I saw this coming last season. he had incredible poise for a rookie)

Two Diamondbacks get on with one out but then the weak-hitting Tuffy and Ahmed come up and strike out. :bang: If this team wants to win games, those two need to sit. You can't win a lot of games when your bottom three hitters can't hit.

Here is another stat, the Diamondbacks have yet to win a game they trailed at the end of the third inning.

As I used to say when I left New Jersey 37 years ago for Phoenix, it's Jerseying (I mean raining) in Philly.

In three weeks, I'll be flying into Philly for a long weekend for a fraternity reunion in New Jersey.

I expect it will be Jerseying again. And humid, even if not :D

Ok, this team is not good. There is a lot of season left but I've seen a good enough sample size. Like with other bad teams, they are inconsistent. Their offense can completely light it up one day and vanish the next day. Their pen is bad and gives up leads frequently, and no stability at the closer position. Starting pitching is ok, but this just isn't a very good baseball team and I think all of us knew that. However, they are better than last year I would say.

0-fer-6 vs. Pennsylvania in our last six games. Ouch!

And today's batting order had only one #8 hitter instead of two or three ahead of the Pitcher.
