Pitching Matchups

Ray vs Gallardo
Hellickson vs Harrison

Gallardo has been pitching well his past couple of starts.
Dbacks have struggled on the road against Texas.
Dbacks scored 5 runs off him last time in AZ.

Prediction

Rangers sweep the Series

Very nice win! Ray was back to his dominant self. Lamb starting to remember his former self as well which is great to see...

So, here we are again... playing to reach .500 once again. Maybe 13 is our lucky number??

Ray has pitched well even if his record does not reflect it.

No kidding. Been so close to getting to .500 and just can't get over the hump. Hopefully tomorrow is the day!

Ray has a 2.18 ERA and a WHIP of 1.02. That's damn impressive. W/L is arguably the most overrated statistical measurement of a pitcher.

I agree. If you don't believe it try playing fantasy baseball. That stat is so inconsistent it will kill you.

As far as Ray goes, he has been great.

With all of the attacking of the team for deals like Touki, I rarely if ever see pats on the back for deals that brought in guys like Ray, Ahmed, Drury... Signing Tomas. Even De La Rosa has been better than expected.

Yup - Dbacks got Ahmed and Drury in the Upton trade, which many on here said was a total disaster.

Mets beat the Giants 4-1. If the Dbacks beat Texas they would be tied for 2nd place.

Texas has been threatening past 2 innings. Some more runs would be nice.

Man, this Wellington Castillo really looked like a questionable pickup, but he's really starting to hit, and hit well...I guess the change in scenery did him some good.
