OMG!!! Way to go Jeff Salazar! 3-run homer with two outs in the 9th puts the Diamondbacks up 5-3!

Dbacks are an unbelievable team to watch... Too bad not many people care.

I know...what is the deal with that?

Over the weekend there were some nice size crowds at Chase Field (40,000 plus), but no NOISE! C'mon fans....make some NOISE like the old days in 2001!!!

Everybody seems to wait for 2 outs in the bottom of the ninth to finally make noise. C'mon now...time to embrace this team and get LOUD!!!

Wickman is getting hit hard in the 8th as he blows a 1-1 tie. Giants have one run in and a runner on 2nd with only one out. Can't give up another run.

Very bad night for Upton. :-/ Pads are about to win so it'll probably be a 2.5 game lead on them now. Have to win tomorrow.

Diamondbacks lose 2-1. Upton had a bad night. He misplayed a hit in the 8th that eventually led to the winning run, plus he hit into two double plays, one with the bases loaded.

Let's get the series win tomorrow.

Not too mention if Clark hadn't tried to stretch his single into a double, he'd have scored on CY's HR.

It took a perfect throw by Bonds to get Clark at 2B.

If he, as a team leader, didn't try to make things happen . . . or if Byrnes and Young were afraid to steal bases . . . the Diamondbacks wouldn't be where they are now -- atop the division.

They'd also be a stagnant, unexiting team trying to hit the ball out of the park, not just alot, but all of the time, and hitting popups all of the time.

Even getting thrown out by Bonds one time provided a positive example to the young guys -- just as Brynes and Hudson have been doing -- don't be afraid to make things happen because it may not work perfectly every time.

Good move, Tony Clark.

can I just say, win or lose last night, I love the fact that this team is the Anti-Cardinals.

Get one tonight and it's three series in a row boys! Keep it going, heading into October baby!

Microcosm of the DBacks. Bases loaded, no outs, one run scores. Webb gets a little off his game for a few pitches. Two runs...
