The Mets are bad but they've won 6 of their last 10 and they took 3 out of 4 in Atlanta just about 10 days ago.

The Dbacks better get it together or they're gonna leave New York looking up at the rest of the division.

Mercifully, Cahill put on ice for 15 days... Hope the hip was really the issue and that once he's "healed", he will perform MUCH better!

D-backs Select Roe From Triple-A Reno, Place Cahill On 15-Day Disabled List

The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) have selected right-handed pitcher Chaz Roe from Triple-A Reno and placed right-handed pitcher Trevor Cahill on the 15-day disabled list with a right hip contusion, according to D-backs' Executive Vice President & General Manager Kevin Towers.

Roe, 26, had 4 saves, 2.00 ERA (2 ER in 9.0 IP) and .194 opponents average (6-for-31) with 2 walks and 13 strikeouts in 9 games for the Aces. This will be his first stint in the Majors. He will wear No. 34.

Roe signed with the D-backs as a Minor League free agent on Sept. 15, 2012, after spending the 2012 season with the independent Laredo Lemurs, going 3-2 with 1.47 ERA (9 ER in 55.0 IP) in 49 relief appearances. He spent the 2005-10 seasons in the Colorado Rockies system and 2011 in the Seattle Mariners system.
Cahill, 25, is 3-10 with a 4.66 ERA (50 ER in 96.2 IP) in 17 starts this season.

Thanks God for Goldy! Crushed his 20th dinger in the first inning... Miley with a very shaky bottom half of the first and is lucky to escape without coughing up a run after tossing nearly 30 pitches... Uggghhh...

Wow... Miley doing his best Houdini routine! Somehow squeeked out of the 2nd after putting runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out. No runs allowed again. But after 2 innings, he's already at 50 pitches... :bang:

They need to put Hernandez on the dl. Why does Gibson keep bringing him in the 8th inning?

How did they miss that? Glad they did but that was quite clearly a home run.

Now this is why I wasn't anxious for Putz to come off of the DL.

Thank God we are playing the Mets... Can't believe Buck just got thrown out at second base... Can't believe they didn't call that home run a home run!
Now 23 straight games without our starter recording a win... That has to be a record!

Absolute horse****.

Always makes it hard to root for them when they play like garbage.

Can Putz even close a door?

Did anyone expect him to get out of the game without sending it to extra innings first? I certainly didn't.

Ouch... One strike away from the win and we lose in the 13th.

What a terrible pitch by Collmenter on 0-2. This team sucks big-time right now. Blowing a 3-0 lead to the pathetic Mets.
