ANALYSIS
Positives…Undersized, but compensates with superb quickness and balance…Has a very quick initial burst to create movement off the line and does a very nice job of anticipating the snap…Hard worker in the weight room, who set team conditioning records (410-power clean)…Delivers a punishing hand jolt to push the blockers back into the quarterback… Shows good penetration skills, using his rip moves along with powerful leg drive to pursue from the back side…Has a knack for flushing the quarterback out of the pocket, showing above average lateral agility and change o direction ability…Finds ways of using his hands to defeat protections…Physical bull rusher who constantly keeps his legs churning…Can play in either the 3/5/9-techniques and will drop back as a linebacker in pass coverage, at times.

Negatives…Lacks an athletic frame, but compensates with strength…Has a history of neck and shoulder stingers that need further review…Lacks vision, literally, as he plays with contacts…He keeps his head down too much, preventing him from recognizing the plays developing properly…Because of keeping his head down, blockers get into his chest too often and he does not use his hands effectively to keep the opponents off his body…Has adequate lateral agility, yet lacks coordination working through the pile…Gets too upright vs. the larger blockers, trying to use his swim moves to no avail…Takes time to recover when knocked down…Sustained speed is modest, but poor in long pursuit.

draft policy

Good grief. This guy follows the Cards draft trend for sure. They should be concerned about the DNP record due to neck and nerve dings.
