Imagine complaining for 3 generations about not having a stadium and saying you don’t have money to compete then when you get the stadium you still are struggling to have decent facilities.

The Bidwills should be run out of town.
They are grifters of the highest order.

The Tempe facilities were built in the 80s and have never gotten a big upgrade. What they need to do is build a brand new facility. It would make sense to build it on the Westside by the stadium.

No it wouldn’t. Players and many coaches would much rather live in the SEV. No one wants to live in Glendale.

The treatment of players families is the easiest and most correctable thing but it's never improved.

Not surprising from a person who has been reported to treat women poorly so often.

Did you read his recent interview about the casitas where he said fans who were forced to move were "happy and upgraded to better seats?"

He lives in a different reality

Well, season tickets are going up between 20 to 40% in most locations this year. Surely that's all going to better facilities and better free agents.

Right! :lmao:
It was a $600 outing to take my kid to a stadium full of Lions fans last year and our seats were nothing special. Then our car got stuck in the blue lot for 90 minutes because no one was there to unlock the gates.

Nah, I'll pass on this team's gameday experience. I used to be a season ticket holder too, but those days are gone.

They can still live anywhere they want. Many live in Paradise Valley and Scottsdale so it wouldn't make much of a difference to them whether it's in Tempe or Glendale. My reasoning is there is a lot of land around the stadium and logistics make sense. If they build a new one in Tempe or Chandler, then great I am all for it.

No they can’t. The drive from east to west is a nightmare. The drive south from PV or Scottsdale is fast, easy, and against the flow of traffic.

Ok. I don't really care. The Cardinals are not building a facility any time soon. And the stadium should've been in Tempe or Mesa anyhow.

This report is very embarrassing for the Cardinals and hard to"sugarcoat" it in any way. Their response is that they are building a new training facility to be completed in 2027.That is not addressing any of the other low score issues in the report.

They have had 3 years to remedy the family treatment score, and the food issue.

You don’t need a new facility to do any of that.

The Bidwills take their money that they never worked for and pocket lots of it without taking care of the players and fans.

I would argue that Michael justifies his salary because he's out there in Tempe most days taking meetings and then berating his secretaries.

That's embarrassing.

For decades these top-tier college programs were being flooded with money they had to put somewhere (they're definitely not driving it back into the school's scholarship fund). When you're not paying athletes but boosters are demanding you take their money for access, it has to go somewhere.

I'm really interested to see how the facilities shift as programs focus on NIL.

Remember when the first report came out and it took public pressure to provide players free food all the time? We're taking 5 figures a year to take care of this and it took public pressure from that report.

Some here thought the players didn't deserve free food. That was interesting in of itself.

For all our Kyler disagreement, this is where we see eye to eye.

What’s even more embarrassing is despite Michael crowing about having his own fleet of planes team travel still only got a B, which shows that he is more interested in showing off in building his own private fleet than actually taking care of the players

Ugh. the tuition struggle is so real and is so different than when I went to school. My son got zero aid. My wife and I received unsubsidized loan offers at 9%. None of which is transferable to our son other than if he applied for a loan later. He has been hammering out 5-10 scholarships per day but it is crazy.

That's why my kids (15, 15, 13) are going to Brown, HVAC school, and clown college, respectively.

TBF lil Mike fails to realize players don't really care whose plane it is as long as it is private and as long as it is comfortable. Again, invest into and upgrade the things players use the most and spend the most time at. Maybe Mike needed the savings...who knows.
